Script Hello these are the software that could be used in the making of my FMP Bubbl: Bubbl is a mind map software that is free to use on the internet the entire website is built aroundcreating mind maps and helping gather/organise ideas. The pros about bubbl are its relatively simple, it is easy to find by just typing bubblinto the browser you can find it. Its free to use and there is no premium optionto “upgrade” your experience, you also don’t need to sign in like most other software. As well they also have very simple to use software the commands are simple, and the text bubbles adjust whilst you type. The cons of bubbl are you must sign in if you want to save your work, if you were to close the tab on bubbland you weren’t signed in you would lose all your work. Another problem that I found with bubbl was that it was very keyboard orientated and you could move the text bubbles around without messing up all the bubbles. Overall, I would use bubblsince it would help me brainstorm and plan ideasits relativelysimple to use and not hard to get access to it and my overallproblems with bubblare minor inconveniencesthat won’t really affect my work.
- 2. YouTube: YouTubeis a media platform to uploadyourown videos to its free and widely used all over the world as a place to upload videosthat you have created. The pros of YouTubeare you can make videos you upload unlisted meaning you can control who sees them mostly, getting links and embedding them is easy, and most people know how to operate YouTube. Cons of YouTube you must have an account to upload anything onto YouTubesince you need a channel. Upload times can vary and are often inaccurateon their upload time. It will stop all uploadsif there is no Wi-Fi. I would use YouTubein my project to uploadthe videos onto it as to make them easier to access as well as being out of the publicdomain. RenderForest: Render forest is a free online animatedvideo and SlideShare holder. The pros of RenderForest are it is a lot faster to make a video on there since they have lots of different templates you can make a video in about 15 minutes with little to no effort. Another pro about render forest is that your video is automaticallysaved onto the website this means that if you lose or want to edit your work you can and it is very simple to access. The cons are you must sign in and it can take a while too you also cannot access any of the editing software without have to sign in. you cannot use many fonts without paying for premium. The website is slow and doesn’t work very well even when you do little things like changing text. There is a lot of thing you cannot access without paying for premium like HD quality or having the video without watermarks. You don’t create much since the templatesjust do all the work for you. I wouldn’t use thissoftware since it wouldn’t feel like my work since the software does most of the editing. Visme: Visme is a picture and video editor, and it has a lot of different optionsto choose from like print and animation. The pros of Visme are there are a lot of templatesto choose from when making a poster as well as just being able to make on from scratch. There are lots of icons to choose from when making the poster and you can uploadyour own videos. The software is very simple to use aswell and isn’t hard to navigate and it isn’t slow. The cons are you must make an account to access the software. It has premium which means that you must pay to get access to better icons and text. There wasn’t a wide variety of text optionseither without havingto pay for
- 4. premium, layering can also be difficult with icons boxes being a lot bigger than they should. I would use this software to make posters since they have good template and icon choices as well as it being fast and easy to use. TypeForm: TypeForm is a survey software which is used to collect informationfrom people that you send the survey to. Pros of TypeForm are there are a lot of prebuilt templates for different situations. As well as that you can also make your own surveys and you can customise the responses to the questionslike multiplechoice or text. You can also edit the questionsmaking that you must answer them to proceed. You can also send the survey through a web link. Cons are you must make an account to access software. There are too many optionswhen making a question which makes it feel overcrowded and confusing. It isn’t easy to navigate the system and was hard to find a customisable survey. I wouldn’t use thissoftware since it is worse than Microsoft forms and seems too complicatedthan it needs to be.
