 Introduction:
In recent years, videoconferencing is becoming
more popular in education. This technology is
rapidly expanding and allows people to
connect instantly via audio and visual. It also
makes it easier to share documents and files
online. Direct video streaming has been used
by many educators for live teaching and
sharing of experiences with students.
 DEFINITION: -
 Web conferencing is generally a term that refers to a
variety of online collaborative services like webcasts,
webinars, and meetings. You can make it possible
using IP or TCP connections via the internet. In the
past, internet was used to send texts through web
conferencing tools. Later it became capable of
sending audios and can now send high definition
videos.

 WEBINARS: -
 A webinar is an interactive online event where a group of
participants can listen to a speaker who delivers a
presentation or seminar by sharing their remote screen.
 A webinar is alive, online broadcast that allows hosts to
share presentations, videos, web pages, or other media
with an audience
 Webinars allow presenters to share information with
participants, and participants can ask or answer the
questions about the topic under discussion.
 WEBCAST: -
 A webcast is a live or pre-recorded media presentation
that is transmitted over internet to multiple viewers
simultaneously.
 Webcasts are similar to traditional broadcasting but
usually non-interactive.
 This is a web conference, which is another type of
broadcast that can be made on TV. However, they are
distinct in that the broadcast can be done using web
instead of TV.
 WEB-MEETING: -
 The web meeting is a virtual meeting that
allows participants to interact in real-time
using audio and video from different
locations.
 This allows participants to interact with
each other.
 Information can flow both forward and
backward, that is the information can flow
from the host to the audience or vice versa.
 WEB-BASED COLLABORATIUONS:
 Web based collaboration is the use of internet based
technology in the workplace to communicate and
coordinate tasks.
 It can be used for audio conferences if text messages are
not shared But live videos can be added to make it even
more effective.
 The web-based collaboration format allows you to
instantly view and edit files, documents or papers.
 A web-based collaboration allows participants to do more
than simply communicate with each other via the internet.
 ONLINE PFRESENTATION: -
 Online presentations can be made via
web conferencing.
 Online presentations can also be done
using web-based chats, streaming
audios/videos and slide presentation.
 To view these presentations, participants
must log-in to the conference website.
 Participants can interact with the
presenter via web-based chat or their
smartphone.

 Smart classrooms are technology enhanced
classrooms that faster opportunities for teaching
and learning by integrating learning technology,
such as computers, specialized software, audience
response technology, assistive listening devices,
networking and audio-visual capabilities.
 Smart classroom is designed to enhance
instructions and learning.
 These classrooms are also called digital or new
media classrooms.

DISADVANTAGES: -
 The expenses of infrastructure, ongoing software updates,
maintenance and teacher training are issues for smart classrooms.
 Electronic devices are prone to technical malfunctions.
 Distractions are common when studying on a personal computer
or smartphone with an internet connection; students can explore
other websites, social networking applications and so on.
 A lack of qualified instructor is more of a hindrance than a reward.
 It is tough to create presentations, movies and programmes.
