Quality Improvement in Advanced Nursing Care
Faculty: Carolyn Schubert, DNP, RN-BC
 COURSE OBJECTIVES

 • 1. Identify the relationship of evidence based quality
         improvement measures to patient outcomes.
 • 2. Analyze quality improvement models to determine
         applicability in clinical environments.
 • 3. Demonstrate the use of evidence based quality
         improvement models to improve culturally
         competent patient outcomes.
 • 4. Differentiate roles in transdisciplinary collaboration
         and peer review in context of quality improvement
         strategies

GRADING
• Online Discussions(4)   40 points total (10 each)
  • 25% of grade




• Individual Project      40 points total
   • 25% of grade




• Group Project           80 points total
  • 50% of grade
