The student learned several technologies during the process of constructing their magazine product. They learned how to upload photos from their phone to their computer using a USB cable. They also learned how to use Blogger.com to upload their coursework progress and Dropbox to transfer photos from their phone. Additionally, the student learned techniques for using Adobe Photoshop CS6 like resizing images while maintaining proportions. They also had to use Scribd to import Word documents onto their blog since Blogger does not support that file type directly.

What Have I learnt
- 1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product
- 2. • In the process of creating the magazine, I used an SLR camera to take photos for locations and in doing this I have learnt how to upload the media from my phone onto the computer using a usb lead. • I have learnt how to use Blogger.com where I have uploaded my coursework progress. • I had to take photos for a location for my magazine using my Samsung phone, and to transfer the photos I wanted, I learnt how to use “Dropbox”. Dropbox is an online free storage system that can be accessed anywhere.
- 3. • I have learnt how to use Adobe Photoshop CS6 as I used this software in the process of creating my magazine cover and contents page. I have learnt techniques such as when an image is inserted, to resize the image you have to use “Shift” as this doesn’t disorientate the image when you are resizing. Another technique I have learnt is • When I was adding to my blog I used a software called scribd, because on blogger.com you can`t input a word document, so I had to use an alternative which was scribd to import my word document onto the blog. I also used slide share for the blog.
