What's Egg doing with all those zombies?
- 1. The first time I saw Andrew Lincoln, he was playing Egg in This Life in the late 1990’s. I loved this show and his character.
- 2. He popped up all unrequited in Love Actually
- 3. Then he’s waking up to an apocalypse, his horse is eaten, and he is forced to fight Zombies for an eternity in The Walking Dead.
- 4. But somehow, he is still Egg. And you are wondering, “What’s Egg doing out here with all these Zombies?”
- 5. Or is that just me?
- 6. It’s like an anchoring bias. The tendency to give more weight to the first thing put forward, and adjust everything from that anchoring point – even when it’s irrelevant.
- 7. We do it with numbers a lot. The price of houses when you first thought about buying one makes today’s prices seem totes cray. Who would pay that?
- 8. But we do it with people too. How they are, who they are, what they do when we first meet them gets a bit stuck. It’s hard not to see them as…
