4. Choose an invention and prepare a leaflet to sell it.
The leaflet should contain author, date and innovation. Add whatever
is needed to empathaise the value of the invention.
[Annex 2. . Is an example of the leaflet. Can be a diptic , a triptic, including uses, advantages,
how to buy it /order it. ]
5. Create an invention with your team.
Can be a daily object , a tool, technology.
Prepare a presentation to capture the audience of your classroom. Use
prezi , powerpoint, or haiku . ( off line – prepare a card presentation
imitating previous programs.
6. Make a game . Buy an invention.
Make the board with examples of inventions and price them from 10
to 100 , the 4 jokers are your selection of four inventions from your
classroom inventions ( task 5), distribute along the board also extra
and expenses spaces ( see cards in annex 1).
Throw the dice and play it.
Answer the questions.
- How much money do you have left?
- How many things have you bought?
-Did you pay VAT? ,
- Did you get any Vouchers?.
- Which are the inventions selected as jokers?, Why?.
- How much the most expensive item of your board cost?/
how much was the cheapest?

Annex 1. Game: INVENTIONS TO BUY
Objective: buy as much inventions as possible ,ending game with the biggest
amount of money left.
material : 2 dices, board, 4jokers and : 2 extra (+) and 4 expenses (-)cards.
RULES: IN GROUPS MAX. 4,
a) Select inventions to cover the spaces : science, technology, daily
objects ,others, Jokers : are the inventions created by the students ( in
task 5). . Distribute the + and – cards along the board.
b) Throw the dice to:
1) Start : 2 dices.The values ( X 100) indicate the starting amount of
money to play Ex: 2+4= 6X100= 600 money to start.
Play with 1 dice for the rest of the game:
2) Voucher: Dice value X10 + extra money
3) VAT : Pay % of the Dice value x 10 in your next acquition.
( e.g:: Hydrometer 90 , VAT: 50 = 45= 90+45=115.
4) Fine. Pay dice result x 10 .
5) Patent : register an invention, Pay 25
6) Buy material : Pay dice value X 10
7) Earn money selling one of your items to one of your colleagues to
your choice. The dice indicate the number of the object you sell .
E.x: 3, the 3rd
item I have bought was the iron board, iron board
is 50 money, hence total + 50 ., but – 50 to your colleague.
Cards to distribute along the board. Extra cards , expenses,
( students inventions ex.5), inventions review. ( science, daily
obj,others, technology.
