Introduction to Android
 Android is an operating system for mobile devices.
 Programs for Android, also called "apps", come from the Google
Play store.
 Powered by Linux operating system
 Fast application development in Java
 Open source under the Apache 2 license

Idea Behind the Project
 We were always more inquisitive
about security purpose projects.
 We also wanted to make
something unique in the market
and for a social cause . So,
we came up with this idea
of Women Security App.

Introduction to Application
 This is a smartphone app that helps women to ensure their
safety using their devices.
 The app ensures the safety of women .
 It identifies and call on resources to help the one out of
dangerous situations .
 It identifies the location of the one in danger.
 We recommend our app since it have some key features
which isolate it from others .

1)At first user have to
save some details . These
details include 5 mobile
numbers of the
recipients and a Text
Message.
WORKING

2) Then initialize this app
as a "widget" ,so that
a finger touch
is enough to alert
your recipient.

3) This message also includes the
current position
(latitude and longitude)
of the victim.

4)After this, automatic calls
will go to the recipients
one after the other,
if not responded
by the recipients.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
 To develop a low cost solution for GPS based women tracking
system which can applied to various domains of the industrial
and personal use just by using the very common mean i.e.
mobile with android enabled.
 The main objective of the system is to track the current location
of the person who has an android enabled mobile by extracting
the longitude and latitude of the victim.

Primary Objective
 The primary objective of
our system is to track the
person and plot the
location on
real time system like
Google map.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
 The main focus of our project is to reduce the overall cost of
tracking based on GPS system which is a satellite based service
which is available 24X7 everywhere in the whole world. GPS
system can be used to get location which includes details like
latitude, longitude and altitude values along with the timestamp
details etc
 It track the movement of the person we have used Google Maps
.

 The mobile phone which
fetches the GPS location
communicates with the
server using
General Packet Radio Service(GPRS).
 It is a low cost service
provided by the service
providers which is a
wireless data communication
system.
 Mobile phones equipped with
GPS receiver are easily available
in the market these days.

CONCLUSION
 The Application provide an effective way to prevent
suspicious activity against women like eve teasing, rape
and molestation by informing the friends, family and
concerned authorities.
 App works on two phases :
 In the tracking phase, GPS receiver fetches the GPS
location.
 In mapping phase, location details the unique identifier.
