- 2. What are Custom Post Types? WordPress can save a lot of different content, the most common is the ‘post’. Is possible to separate your content into different parts or sections in the WordPress Admin, that’s where Custom Post Types come in handy.
- 3. Post Types by Default WordPress comes with 5 Post Types by default: • Post (‘post’) • Page (‘page’) • Attachment (‘attachment’) • Revision ( ‘revision’) • Menus (‘nav_menu_item’)
