  “ A NightOut” A sexual Health risk taking Board Game A sexual health project working with N.E.E.T young men from a deprived area. Working in partnership with Young People services , Brook and Connexions. Flexible and open minded work ethic. Working towards the needs of the young people. Looked at young peoples views around sex and risk taking behaviours. Looked at existing sexual health risk taking educational resources. Young people decided to design a board game for young people. The young people remained actively involved during all stages of the design process.

  “ A NightOut” The Rules This game is played with a facilitator who should read the booklet provided for guidance when asking Questions and asking Action and Reaction cards. The game is played with 4-6 players Players have to spin the counter to move You can only move forward 4 spaces maximum If you land on a” lift” the hand shows you where to move to If you land on a STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection) you follow the arrows down to the square it leads you to If you land on a Question Square the facilitator picks up a question card and you have to answer it. If you get the answer right then you can spin again. If you get the answer wrong then you do not move until your next go. If you land on an Action and Reaction square the facilitator picks up the card and you have to answer the question. Depending on the answer you face a different consequence. If you land on the G.P square you miss a go If you land on a G.U.M (Genito Urinary Medicine) square then you miss 2 go’s If you are sent to Greenbank Police Station then you miss 3 go’s The option of the game is to get to the Finish square first.
