The document describes a set design for a play that includes two flats on each side of the stage painted different colors. On the right side, flats 1 and 2 are painted "Wholemeal" while flats 3, 4, and 5 are painted "Sand" to distinguish the apartment buildings. The same color scheme is used on the left side. Polystyrene bricks were added to the flats and painted the opposite color to add character. The bricks and flats were then "dirtied up" by sponging on dark or light colors in the corners and edges to make them look aged. This technique was used throughout the set to achieve continuity.
