The SUNY Cortland Athletic Department is proud to present a new and exciting approach to sponsorship opportunities. Over the past twenty years, SUNY Cortland has grown into one of the most successful athletic programs in the country, routinely finishing in the top 25 of the NACDA Directors Cup. This prestigious honor recognizes overall excellence within collegiate athletic programs. Cortland is one of only six schools nationwide, and the only New York institution to place in the top 25 each of the 19 years the standings have been compiled at the Division III level. As a member of NCAA Division III athletics, Cortland has placed itself on the forefront of recognition based on its athletic achievements. SUNY Cortland has been home to 23 national championship teams and 98 individual national champions, with many of their teams consistently finishing in the top 25 of their respective sport rankings. While our sponsorships have been greatly beneficial and loyal to athletics, any opportunity for growth is a top priority. Developing new relationships, strengthening current contracts and engaging our community business leaders is our focus for the upcoming athletic seasons. As a sponsor, you will be involved directly with Cortland Athletics in our new campaign.
