Overview During this workshop we will discuss how to explore this diverse community which has over 80 islands dedicated to educational and academic use. Emphasis will be placed on resources for teaching and project ideas.

  • #2 Second Life is a 3D virtual world built and owned by the program users. Members use avatars – who look a lot like the characters in the Sims multi-user environment video game. With your avatars you navigate through a smorgasbord of activities. Basic membership is free. This is a very exciting subject.
