PyCon JP 2012 was a 2-day Python conference held in September 2012 in Japan with over 480 attendees. It included keynote speeches, panels, tutorials and hands-on sessions in both Japanese and English. Additional activities included sponsor booths, recruiting sessions, open spaces for discussion, and a 1-day sprint event after the main conference. The conference was organized by a staff of over 50 volunteers and had 22 company sponsors. It featured over 50 sessions covering the Python community and language.
