Accessibility Software Tester

A company is looking for a Part-Time Accessibility Software Tester (Braille & Screen Reader Proficiency).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct manual accessibility testing using screen readers and Braille displays to ensure digital content accessibility

Review and interpret Braille documents to verify accuracy and compliance

Identify and document accessibility issues in web and software applications, providing actionable feedback

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in Braille reading, including embossed and refreshable formats

Hands-on experience with screen reader software such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or TalkBack

Familiarity with WCAG guidelines, ARIA roles, and accessibility testing tools

Ability to test software using screen reader-only workflows

Strong written communication skills for documentation and collaboration
