- Second, more reputable source claims Galaxy S26 delayed

It seems increasingly likely that the Samsung Galaxy S26 smartphone has been delayed.
Earlier in the week we reported on a slightly dubious claim that the Samsung Galaxy S26 was going to be delayed from its usual January launch window.
Given that the source was an unfamiliar Greek website, we didn’t pay it too much attention. Indeed, we merely mentioned it as an aside to more convincing claims concerning Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chip.
Now, however, established tipster Ice Universe has opined on the subject, claiming on Weibo that “Samsung Galaxy S26 series release confirmed to be postponed”.
That’s about as definitive a statement as it’s possible to get from such a leak specialist, even factoring in machine translation.

Samsung Galaxy S26 delay – What do we know?
With that in mind, let’s look back to the original claim. According to the initial source, the Samsung Galaxy S26 will launch in March, rather than its usual January window.
It also claims that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is unaffected by whatever unnamed issues that have plagued the regular model, and is ready to go.
We’re not counting a Samsung Galaxy S26 January launch out just yet. As we noted before, reports of production issues and launch delays are fairly common with such major products, yet Samsung has a good track record of getting its major phones out of the door and into shops on time.
Even so, these latest claims make a certain amount of sense. All signs so far suggest that Samsung is changing things up for the next regular Galaxy S model, potentially elevating it to ‘Pro’ status.
This will doubtless involve new components and possibly even a new design after several years of relative stagnation (the Samsung Galaxy S25 isn’t all that different to the Samsung Galaxy S23). If there’s a recipe for ‘delayed phone launch’, it surely looks a lot like this.
