I would suggest people use other credit reference agencies

I signed up to these cowboys having forgotten that I previously opened an account 9 years earlier. I contacted them as it states I wasn't on the Electoral Register at the address they had and asked them to update their records to show my current address and the fact I am on the Electoral Register at that address.
I would also like to add and be honest about the fact that I was otherwise engaged at her majesty's pleasure for 6 months and obviously incurred utility debts credit card debts etc. I would also like to state that within a month these debts were FULLY paid. One of these debts was also a mobile phone contract or to be more precise a rolling monthly sim contract as I had finished paying for the handset. As I missed TWO £11.50 payments they disconnected my number and the only way to keep my old number was to migrate to pay as you go for at least 6 months which I did. Having been with this mobile phone company for 10 years I thought I would apply for a new contract. Unfortunately I was refused. The reason for the refusal was nothing to do with a credit check but more so a policy this company has that automatically refuse customers who have late payment records on their account for an indefinite time frame. I went to another phone company with NO ISSUES.
I also get responses from these cowboys saying they have contacted companies that I have NEVER had accounts or Never asked them , to say the details they have are accurate. If you are a customer with this company I suggest you Register elsewhere. Failing that , go through your report with a fine tooth comb as you are bound to find errors and false information these incompetent cowboys hold about you.

Karen ask someone from the UK to read this then. You have seen what happens when I contact them directly... incompetent mistakes are made.

Call center sucks

I canceled my premium membership 7 months ago and switched to the free version, but for some reason, Experian kept charging me monthly membership fee.

There are no feature on the Experian's website to check my transaction history, so I tried calling. The robot assistant was not helpful, and after 15 minutes, it just pushed me to a "Specialist". This specialist was rude and kept asking me repeated security questions. After I answered it, he put me on hold and hung up. He just got all of my personal information and then hung up....This is such a waste of time. I felt like I had been scammed for the past 7 months.
