WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 On 6 November 2025, within the framework of the International Peace Festival, the University of Brescia (Italy) hosted the international academic seminar “Le Trasformazioni della NATO e la difesa europea” (Transformations of NATO and European Defence), organized by the University for Peace (U4P) Centre within the Department of Law.

 The Centre for Resilience at West Ukrainian National University hosted a two-day training course aimed at developing psychological resilience and effective self-regulation skills among representatives of law enforcement agencies.

 The West Ukrainian National University (WUNU) once again served as a powerful platform for the exchange of knowledge, scientific research, and ideas that promote the development of international relations, human rights, and sustainable development. The V International Scientific Readings named after Bohdan Hawrylyshyn, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of WUNU’s founding, took place at the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.

 Today, on Ukrainian Writing and Language Day, the academic community of the West Ukrainian National University joined in the tradition of writing the Radio Dictation of National Unity.

 We invite graduate students majoring in IT at West Ukrainian National University to participate in a competitive selection for semester-long study at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Fachhochschule Dortmund) in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The duration of the mobility programme is five months. The programme is taught in English.

 West Ukrainian National University hosted the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Communication as a Factor of Transparency in Social Interaction. The Era of Digitalisation,’ dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the university's founding.

 Professor Antin Shuvar, Professor Ivan Senyk and Associate Professor Uliana Tkach took part in the International Conference ‘Applied Use of Methods to Influence the Heracleum Population with the Aim of Restoring Biodiversity in the Cross-Border Territories of Ukraine and Poland’, which was held in Lviv.

 WUNU hosted a discussion with Jan van Zwieten, Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy and member of the Supervisory Board of West Ukrainian National University. The event served as a platform for discussing contemporary views on leadership, personal development, and the role of education in shaping the future of young people.

 West Ukrainian National University has launched the Academic School of Economics and Management, a new joint educational project between the Faculty of Economics and Management and the Ternopil Municipal Methodological Centre for Scientific and Educational Innovation and Monitoring. The aim of the project is to develop the managerial, economic and leadership skills of young people, to shape their modern economic thinking, and to prepare them for effective participation in public and professional life.

 The Centre for Political Studies of the Serhiy Konoval Department of Political Science and Philosophy at the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations of WUNU hosted a guest lecture on one of the most pressing issues in contemporary international security for students, postgraduates and lecturers.
