At this year’s annual gathering of the global gas industry at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok this week, Rashid Al Mazrouei, Chief Marketing & Origination Officer (LNG) at ADNOC, joined a panel of industry leaders to discuss the status of the global LNG market. He outlined the ambition for ADNOC’s new Global LNG Marketing and Trading Platform, which combines the LNG marketing activities of ADNOC Gas and XRG with the trading capability of ADNOC Trading. The platform offers customers one entry point to a global and diverse portfolio which aims to offer 47 mtpa of combined marketable LNG by 2030+, placing ADNOC among the leading global LNG players. In his remarks, Rashid highlighted the diversity of supply that underpins the platform. XRG brings the international reach — a global gas portfolio spanning the US, Argentina, Mozambique, Egypt, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, mandated to build a top-five integrated global gas and LNG business at 20–25 mtpa by 2035. ADNOC Gas provides the production foundation, with a track record of LNG supply since 1977 and more than 3,500 cargoes delivered. ADNOC Trading brings commercial flexibility, with pricing structures shaped around the buyer and a shipping desk ranked among the top global charterers. And through ADNOC L&S the platform has the vessels — 24 owned LNG carriers in operation or under construction– to deliver to customers. #Gastech2026 #LNG #ADNOC #XRG #Energy
