While talking about the `feed:` URI scheme I looked at the official IANA documents for URI schemes, and noticed how despite it being 20 years old now, it is STILL a provisional scheme, which triggered me to go to the Wikipedia article for it. Turns out, the work regarding its integeration has been essentially frozen since 2011, so it is not worth using it, despite plenty of indie sites still using it :/
