Europe is facing a growing water paradox 💧. Floods and droughts are becoming more frequent —– and sometimes hitting the same region in different seasons. As the fastest-warming continent, Europe is seeing more extreme and unpredictable rainfall, widening the gap between when water is available and when it’s needed. Floods and droughts are not separate crises, but two sides of the same climate coin. The challenge is to manage them together: capturing excess water where possible and using it to reduce scarcity. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, but integrated flood–drought management can strengthen Europe’s resilience, protect critical systems and support long-term competitiveness. Water is a strategic asset for Europe’s future. Read why. 👇 https://lnkd.in/dXk9V8fQ
