Tailormade Logistics Group strengthens sustainable fleet with 8 new electric trucks! 🚚 🌱 Tailormade Logistics Group (TML) is taking an important step in its sustainability strategy with the purchase of 8 new fully electric trucks in 2025. This expansion is a great addition to the two electric vehicles that have been in successful use since 2023. What started as a test project has now become a structural part of TML's green vision for the future. The festive inauguration of the new lorries took place at the Visitor Centre of the Volvo Group, Volvo Trucks Belgium & Luxembourg & in Oostakker (Ghent), a symbolic location, as TML is both a supplier and a customer there. During the event, the keys were officially handed over in the presence of several prominent guests, including: ✅ Mathias De Clercq, Mayor of Ghent ✅ Sofie Bracke, Alderman for Economy and Employment ✅ Cas König, CEO of North Sea Port ✅ Bert Vandecaveye, Founder and CEO of Tailormade Logistics With this investment, TML is emphasising its ongoing commitment to sustainable mobility and its role as a pioneer in the logistics sector. Sustainability is no longer an experiment for us, but a daily reality,‘ says Bert Vandecaveye, CEO of Tailormade Logistics. ’With the expansion of our electric fleet, we are taking another step towards emission-free logistics and a future-proof business model." The electric lorries will mainly be used for regional distribution in Flanders and Northern France, where TML wants to further reduce its ecological footprint and offer its customers more environmentally friendly transport solutions.
