TL;DR - The Simple Version

  • Use our tools however you want, they're free
  • We provide no warranties - use at your own risk

  • Don't do anything illegal or harmful
  • The code will be open source soon - you'll be able to fork it
  • Domain Checker is the only tool that makes external requests (to check domains)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Boring Developer Tools ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our Service.

2. Description of Service

All tools run entirely in your browser with no server-side processing or data transmission, with one exception: the Domain Checker tool must query external DNS services.

5. No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We make no warranties that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be error-free. Always verify critical outputs independently.

8. Privacy and Data

As detailed in our Privacy Policy, we don't collect, store, or transmit any of your data. All processing happens locally in your browser.
