Why campaigns?
Every year, the EU's Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations department runs high impact communication campaigns to:
- raise awareness and enhance understanding and support of EU humanitarian aid among EU citizens
- inform citizens about the EU’s role in civil protection
- highlight the cooperation between the European Union and its humanitarian and civil protection partners in delivering relief assistance to people affected by crises around the world.
