Youth Policy Dialogue: Protecting young people online

Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Henna Virkkunen and Commissioner Glenn Micallef will host a Youth Policy Dialogue on 22 September in Brussels. The dialogue will bring together young people from different backgrounds, as well as content creators, to discuss how we can better protect young people online and exchange views on ongoing EU initiatives in this area, including the Cyberbullying Action Plan.

From cyberbullying to age verification tools and platform responsibility, participants will discuss directly with Executive Vice-President Virkkunen and Commissioner Micallef how we can safeguard the mental health, well-being and safety of young people in an increasingly digital world.
