Responsible AI at Eightfold is governed through defined design principles, ongoing oversight, and compliance practices that guide how our AI systems are developed, deployed, and monitored.

Eightfold.ai is the first HR technology company certified across all three levels of ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the international standard for AI management systems. We design our AI with EEOC, GDPR, the EU AI Act, and US state-level AI hiring laws in mind — not retrofitting compliance after the fact.

Our approach includes external, independent audits — including our third-party bias audit under NYC Local Law 144, conducted by BABL AI Inc. — plus ongoing active monitoring. The certification is maintained through continuous re-audits, not awarded once and left behind.

We track the laws that govern talent technology and AI — from civil rights law to emerging AI-in-hiring regulation — so your team doesn’t have to.
