Save the date for the next #EUSocialForum:
2-3 March 2027

For seventy years Europe has invested in people as the foundation of its prosperity.

The European Social Fund has helped millions of Europeans find jobs, acquire new skills and adapt to changes. It has demonstrated that investing in people is not only a social objective but an economic one.

Ten years ago, the European Pillar of Social Rights confirmed this ambition by defining twenty principles to ensure that every person has access to equal opportunities, fair working conditions and social protection.

Together, these milestones tell a uniquely European story: economic transformation succeeds only when people are empowered to succeed with it.

Today, Europe faces a different set of challenges.

  • Technological shifts transform our daily lives

  • Rising costs put pressure on households

  • Inequalities undermine cohesion and our capacity to innovate

To help face these challenges, the Forum will aim to answer the questions: How to keep our social model fit for the future? How do we prepare people not only to cope with change, but to lead it?

The Forum will bring together political leaders, stakeholders, businesses, social partners and researchers to define the next chapter of Europe's investment in people.

  • More on the Forum’s topics of discussion, agenda, speakers, and registrations will follow soon.
