smell that film

About SMELL THAT FILM

This is going to be home for our photos – hopefully filled with stories, tips and tricks, and love.

2007, we found ourselves lomo-curious, and bought a Fisheye2 from Ro. And after falling in love with film, we bought truckloads of cameras and films.

All our photos posted/to be posted were taken using film – fresh + expired + color + slide + 35mm + 120mm. They were either scanned from the film or the prints, and free from any post processing. This is because we’d like to learn to shoot better, document things better, and learn about our things (cameras and films) better.

Happy shooting, everyone!

Jessica + Jan

[EDIT] OH NOES!

unfortunately, when we asked Digiprint to scan our films including the sprocket area, they scanned two photos at a time. we needed to “post-process” them in order to crop and put on watermarks.

but! 🙂 strictly speaking, the photos are left untouched, though we think that the film scanners adjust the contrast when the photos are somewhat dark.
