A new signalling milestone in Helsinki 🚇🇫🇮 CAF has been awarded a contract worth more than €60 million by Kaupunkiliikenne Oy, HSL Helsingin seudun liikenne and Länsimetro Oy to modernise the signalling system of the Helsinki Metro. The project includes: · Deployment of OPTIO, CAF’s CBTC signalling system ⚙️ · A new control centre 🖥️ · Upgrade the existing M300 fleet supplied by CAF 🚆 The system will enable automatic operation with unattended turn-back operations at line terminals, improving reliability and capacity. CAF strengthens its presence in the French regional rail market 🇫🇷🚆 CAF has secured a new contract with SNCF Voyageurs for the supply of 10 additional Régiolis regional trains for the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, valued at around €80 million. CAF secures macro contract in Belgium 🇧🇪🎉 NMBS-SNCB (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Belges) has awarded CAF the contract to design, manufacture and supply the new AM30 train fleet. 🚆 A framework agreement covering an initial scope of 180 trains, with a total capacity of 54,000 passengers. The contract is valued at 1.7 billion euros. The agreement also includes the option to supply up to 380 additional units, increasing capacity to 170,000 passengers.
