Inloco (from Latin, “in place” or “in the right place”) is a cultural initiative dedicated to urban contemporary art, site-specific interventions, and phygital practices. We champion artists with roots in urban expression, presenting their work in contexts that preserve its authenticity. Our programming revolves around large-scale urban interventions across the UAE, followed by exhibitions.
With a physical venue in Dubai serving as a research hub and archive, Inloco provides a storage facility for artworks created during these temporary urban projects. The metaverse extends this mission, acting as a digital archive for projects. By challenging the conventional gallery model, Inloco embraces freedom, temporality, and the evolving nature of urban art.
Inloco Dubai is part of the Inloco Initiative, a platform dedicated to supporting and documenting urban art since 2017. The initiative encompasses four key projects: Inloco Gallery Dubai, Street Art Research Institute, Street Art Storage, and Nuvo Buro Group, which develops public art and cultural design projects worldwide.
