Sustainable development and peace and security go hand-in-hand. One is not possible without the other, which is why we fully support our partner countries in their efforts to establish long-term stability.
Programmes
We implement programmes around the world wherever assistance is needed. We tailor our support to fit the region or country being helped. Programmes with a global reach allow the EU to provide similar support to countries facing similar problems.

This programme aims to strengthen the capacity of parliaments in partner countries by enhancing their legislative, oversight, representative, budgetary and administrative functions.

The Team Europe Democracy Initiative (TED) will enhance evidence-based support for democracy worldwide.

EL PACCTO 2.0 is a European Union cooperation programme that supports Latin American and Caribbean countries in their fight against transnational organised crime, corruption, and money laundering.
