On October 23rd, in a legendary palace overlooking the Bosphorus, Pomellato celebrated the Art of Iconic Craftsmanship. In collaboration with long-standing partner Rotap, the Maison brought together culture and craft at the historic Çırağan Palace Kempinski. Co-hosted by Pomellato Ambassador Hande Erçel and CEO Sabina Belli, the evening honored the dialogue between Turkish weaving traditions and Italian goldsmithing mastery, with the Iconica collection at its heart. In the Palace's historic Hammam, students from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University—where Hande Erçel herself studies—performed a live carpet-weaving demonstration, showcasing their preservation of traditional Ottoman techniques. They are collaborating with Hande Erçel's atelier to create a handmade rug for the Maison's Istinye Park boutique—a tribute to heritage and a meaningful connection between two ancient crafts. "Istanbul has a soul for craftsmanship—where tradition and contemporary creation speak the same language," says Sabina Belli. "Celebrating Iconica here reminds us that beauty is a living craft, passed from hand to hand." The red carpet became a radiant showcase for Pomellato’s artistry, revealing Milanese elegance through High Jewelry statements and signature icons. Anna Ferzetti dazzled in Pomellato High Jewelry at the premiere of “La Grazia” by Paolo Sorrentino, wearing the Asimmetrico choker in rose gold set with over 2,900 diamonds, paired with diamond rings and earrings from the Nudo collection. For her arrival in Venice, Benedetta Porcaroli chose Iconica earrings and a bracelet in rose gold with a Catene bracelet in rose gold and diamonds. She later took to the premiere of “Il rapimento di Arabella” in the Rivière Zigzag necklace from the Collezione 1967 High Jewelry collection—crafted in rose gold with seven green tourmalines totaling over 47 carats and diamonds—paired with a Nudo Maxi ring. Pomellato Sparkled at the 78th Cannes Film Festival The red carpet became a dazzling showcase for Pomellato's artistry, offering exclusive previews from the upcoming High Jewelry collection launching in June. Alessandra Ambrosio opened the Festival in breathtaking style adorned with the avant-garde Asimmetrico Tanzanite parure, featuring a 55.96-carat irregular-cut tanzanite in flexible rose gold, complemented by a matching 37.73-carat tanzanite ring. Throughout the festival, Hande Erçel attended the "Mission Impossible" screening in the sculptural Aquamarine Dream necklace with its rounded-rectangular cabochon centerpiece and faceted drop pendant, while Valeria Golino illuminated the 'Fuori' premiere with the Planetario necklace embellished with 23 rare Tahitian pearls. At the Kering Women in Motion Awards, stars including Tessa Thompson, Toni Garrn, Jameela Jamil, and Min-ha Kim chose Sabbia, Nudo, and Iconica collections.
