She Moves In Her Own Way 
Well, Kimberley-Anne – I can honestly say I have never heard of Bend or met anyone from there! Did it Bend or was it on a Bend or was it named after an explorer called Bend?
I honestly couldn’t tell you, I’m sure you could find it on wikipedia. It’s famous for being right by Mt Bachelor, it’s a big resort town basically.
The name Bend was derived from “Farewell Bend,” the designation used by early pioneers to refer to the location along the Deschutes River where the town eventually was platted, one of the few fordable points along the river (Wikipedia)So now I know!

I actually haven’t finished it yet… I’ve been so focused on school this semester, maybe i’ll read it over spring break, you’ve inspired me.
I LOVE Bend (and Sisters, and Redmond) and have considered moving there in the past.
I applaud you for your restraint in the cursing department. Sadly, I have cursed, sworn and would have even hexed someone if I’d have known how before. It never ACTUALLY made me feel any better. So you’re one up on me there.
You have great taste in movies, but why the number three? I find two to be so much more balanced.

Bend is great! We still have a house down there, and family so we visit quite frequently. Sisters wins the battle when it comes to great towns though… it’s just so cute!
Haha, well I’ve been raised in a home where cursing at someone is just unacceptable. And even if I felt like being a rebel, I don’t have the guts. 🙂
The number three…. well it’s a long story. Pretty much I just feel as though things are always better in threes. Such as gifts… I can’t just get two things for someone– must be three. Friends… always more fun when there are three rather than just two, and with four; one or two end up feeling left out (especially true among teen girls). It just seems more whole. Plus there is a lot of weird conspiracy stuff surrounding the number. And from a religious perspective– the father, the son, the holy spirit. Therefore, it just feels like a magical number to me I suppose.

lol. I guess I’m blog shy? I lived all the way up in Bellingham. Was going to go to WWU but through a series of events decided not to, but I loved it there so much I stayed for a bit, till I got whisked away by love to Alberta 🙂

It’s in Shelton yeah- same thing 🙂 I never made it out that way, we were going to go to Bremerton once but that fell through. I visited Seattle a bunch of time and even went to Bumpershoot, but most of the time I explored the San Juan Islands, and my friends and I would go to this old abandoned fort (can’t remember the name for the life of me) An hour or so south of B’ham. You ever go up there? Or to Mt. Baker- really fun snowboarding.
Haha, that’s so funny about the store! I see it almost everyday when I’m home because it’s across the street from where I work! I haven’t been in though. 🙂 I love the san jauns! I’ve only gone up there once I believe… but it was beautiful. The abandoned fort… are you talking about port townsend?? I know they have the old barracks or whatever those are called. We went there my last day of my junior year in hs. Just a bunch of girlfriends and I… exploring. hehe. Good times. 🙂
You should stop in the store next time you’re back home. I bet its pretty inside:). I figured out the place is Fort Casey on Whidbey Island. There are these chambers underground, built into the side of a hill, that we went and explored at night. Very creepy!

haha it is small… but I do like it. It’s close enough to everything where you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of no where.

For dessert, well, I’m getting ahead here but will roll the dice and suggest deep fried elephant ears – some call them scones.
