About

Stephen King is arguably the most prolific writer of our time. Millions, maybe even a billion people on this planet have read something that he’s written. But I wonder, how many of them have read it all, everything he’s written? Novels, novellas, short stories, screenplays, non-fiction… there are so many wonderful and terrifying King writings to explore.

My primary goal is to read all of the works of fiction within the King library. I’m not going to rule out the screenplays or works on non-fiction entirely, but for the time being this quest will be devoted to the works of fiction. Also, I’ll be reading through the library at random. Chronologically from the beginning would be cool, but I don’t want to restrict myself. I would like to have some choice in where this journey takes me, reading freely, as the crow flies so to speak.

This isn’t some fan site, devoted to everything pertaining to King. It’s just me, reading and writing about what I’ve read. I’m going to read my way through the library and write reviews for each book. I may even review some of the films and T.V. events as well.

I’m very excited about this project. It’ll be daunting at times. It’ll be scary too, I know that. I may even have the occasional nightmare… But I’m going to be brave. I’m going to be dedicated.

And I’m going to read it all!

  1. Hey Smash just found your kingdom blog! Don’t know how you manage to write two! I’ve just started reading Stephen King. I’m currently on book 2 of the Dark Tower series and I’m really enjoying it so far, keep up the good work 🙂

Thanks for making your way here and joining in on all the spooky fun! I thought having a second blog was going to be a lot of work, but its really not. I’m excited to read the Dark Tower series, but I may hold off on it for a while because it’s loaded with connections to his other works and I’d love to be able to spot all of them while I read.

  2. Oh my God I had no idea you were doing this. I’m going to spend a lot of time reading this blog.

Dare to scare? Er, share...
