APM Monaco is a leader in the global fashion jewelry market. It started with a female founder and her son in Monaco, Monte-Carlo, in 1982. Ariane and Philippe Prette were key manufacturers in gold, diamonds, and other precious stones for acclaimed jewelers around the world. After 30 years of steadfast commitment and deep-seated expertise within the industry, Philippe Prette, the current CEO, alongside his wife Kika Prette, as the Creative Director, launched the APM Monaco brand in 2012. Their vision came to life because of their combined experience in the jewelry and fashion industries. APM Monaco, with its heritage rooted in Monaco and operational headquarters in Hong Kong, has expanded to include a global workforce of over 2,000 individuals. Our production facilities in China place a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, utilizing recycled silver and alloys to align our manufacturing processes with our dedication to sustainability.     𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. I was honoured to be invited to deliver the Art & Science of Clienteling keynote at APM Monaco's recent leadership conference in Kuala Lumpur. The experience created for their team was very well thought out. The venue reflected the brand beautifully with signature purple touches - a warm welcome sign, a fun yet elegant photo booth, and even the lighting was intentionally designed to align with the vibe in the room. What stood out the most was the leadership. Herman Lam and his team demonstrated a balance of positive energy and ambitious vision to inspire with practical methodologies to guide. Herman has been a like-minded client excellence champion and a trusted partner of mine since our Burberry days - and it was motivating to see that same leadership spirit remain so strong even after years apart. What I'd really like to share with the community here is Herman’s comment, as his team asked how to scale clienteling - here is his reply: "𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.” As we spend so much time on data, reports, and automation these days, let’s not treat our team or your clients just as numbers. Instead, take care of them as humans, build one relationship at a time, and they will take care of your business.
