MPI Coordinator & Model
Hi, I’m Vich (pronounced “Vish”), an American girl living somewhere surrounded by a lot of corn and not much of anything else. I’ve been in SL since April, 2007, and created this avi in July, 2008. My original avi is still very much active in SL and manages a post-apocalyptic roleplay sim called Goth City, which is filled with demons, vampires, lycans, and various other unusual creatures. In May of 2009, I was bitten by the fashion bug, and I’ve been modeling ever since.
I got my start in a little shop that, sadly, doesn’t exist any more, as the first model the designer hired. It wasn’t much later that I found myself wanting to experience more, and so I went in search of an education in modeling. That’s when I found MPI, purely by accident, via an ad that flashed before my eyes as I was shopping on SLX one day. I immediately submitted an application to MPI’s academy, was accepted, and I graduated from that academy in June, 2009.
Since then, I’ve been blessed with many opportunities in the modeling world. I’ve been featured in a four-page magazine spread, have walked many, many runways, and have had the good fortune of showing off designs from some of the best fashion designers in SL. In addition to modeling, I’ve also done a little acting, having played the part of Lindsey Wallace in Soulless Productions’ SL remake of the classic horror film “Halloween.” I’m also an in-store model for Mohna Lisa Couture.
When the position of show coordinator came open at MPI in October, 2010, I jumped at the opportunity to take my love of SL modeling to another level. I love what I do, and doing it for the agency that took a chance on a girl who couldn’t put one foot in front of the other and turned her into a real model… well… that’s just about the best thing ever. Other agencies have come and gone during my career here in SL, but MPI has been, and always will be… home.
