Vision Speaker and Preliminary Schedule Announced for NASIG Autumn 2024

We are thrilled to announce that Jonna Paden will be the vision speaker for NASIG Autumn 2024. Jonna C. Paden (Acoma Pueblo) is the current Archivist and previous Librarian at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the 2024-25 President of the American Indian Library Association (AILA) and part-time Adjunct Instructor at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), a tribal college located on Pueblo homelands in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is an active member of the Society of Southwest Archivists, the New Mexico Library Association (NMLA) Archives & Archivists Special Interest Group (SIG), and the ATALM Native Emerging Professionals Network. Jonna is past Chair of Native American Libraries, a SIG of the NMLA. As part of the Circle of Learning scholar cohort, Jonna earned a Master of Library and Information Science focused on Archives and Records Management from San Jose State University.
