These are all photos taken inside and outside Laurentian University’s library a few years ago. (Sudbury, Ontario, Canada)

Main sitting area below the staircase. Looking up, you can just catch the edge of the bottom of the stairs.

I was lucky to get a few shots without people going up and down.

Now for the outside view that caught my eye.
Wanted to see how the above view would be transformed by sepia and monochrome.
Interesting refraction of light from this angle.

Reflections of the trees create an illusion.
(Yes, it was spring, but some snow banks took longer to melt.)

I am intrigued by the optical illusion I get in the outside view photos. It seems that as they progress from color to black and white the building seems to tip more. As if the angle shifts, and yet it doesn’t. Or is it because the images are going from left to right? Or is it just my eyes tripping out!
I like the last photo a lot. The layers of reflections as the light changes in the background.

Interesting that you mentioned the optical illusion of the threesome. Thanks for pointing it out. I took a second look and noticed a shift also. I included the last one because it intrigued me also. Appreciate your comment, Arati. 🙂

Many angles – lovely shots all, but my full favorite is the last one. An amazingly beautiful shot with many layers.

Thank-you, Ann-Christine. Yes, the refraction between some sections of glass in quite interesting and creates different layers to the view. Happy that you liked it. 🙂

These are great photos of different angles, Olga, I love them. I think because of the curve in the last photo, the glasses reflected different images, very interesting. 🙂
