Overview ¶
wav-decode feeds a WAV file through the full sstv-cli pipeline (VIS detection → codec decode → PNG write) without requiring a sound card.
Usage:
wav-decode --in recording.wav [--out ./out] [--codec robot36c|pd90|...] [--verbose] wav-decode --in image.wav --direct [--out ./out] [--codec robot36c|pd90|...]
--direct skips VIS detection and decodes the WAV as a bare image frame. Use this for pre-clipped recordings that contain only the image data (no VIS leader/header), such as those saved by sstv-cli alongside the PNG.
