MISSION STATEMENT
I believe in massage. Massage is the healing art of touch. Many people benefit from massage and many people have already given and received massage and don’t even know it. It starts when we are children, the warm caresses of our mothers and fathers. Soothing soft strokes. Tender as those moments are, they are often forgotten by the years and the stresses of life. It’s no wonder so many crave to be touched, hugged, stroked, soothed again. A little tenderness in a world that makes us feel weak for needing a hug on a hectic day. Massage does all of these wonderful natural things in therapeutic way! There are so many benefits to massage, like, better sleep, improved circulation, improved skin tone, managing anxiety and depression, stress relief, stiffness, blood pressure control, infant growth, sports related injuries, boosting immunity, cancer treatment.
As much as I love massage, I do believe in a seeing a physician on a regular basis if you have any major medical conditions, and ifs its your first time receiving a massage ask ton’s of questions to both your doctor and your intended massage therapist. I believe in the right to be comfortable with the person touching you. Make sure the person working on you has a license or is certified or both? There is a difference! Are they insured?
Massage is a great gift to give yourself its totally beneficial to your entire life! It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
this is interesting!
