I don’t know much about me but people say that ‘where ever I go I just rock the place’. I am a Doctor & my aim is to be a good physician. I’m a passionate Traveller and my aim in travelling is to explore at least 35 countries before I cross 35 years. I am very much interested in learning new languages. And that’s the reason why I always put efforts in learning their language before I set my foot in their land.  I never say never to learn new things, I like to explore new places and experience the culture of different people. Hanging out with my friends(especially RoR boyz) is my favorite past time. My strength is that I will find positive in negative situations too. I want to be different all the time because it makes me to love myself. I’m an emotional guy, sometimes even my eyes gets moisturized while watching emotional scenes. I love being lazy, just hanging around doing nothing, watching movies, reading, listening to music, or whatever.

I’m actually a very shy person. When I was a kid, I never used to talk to girls, although I got over that in Mbbs(2nd-3rd year) I feel like I’m quiet and shy around people whom I’ve just met. After I get to know them better, I open up and I am quite a easy and fun going person. I understand people by always putting myself in to other’s shoes and try to understand what they’re feeling, what they’re thinking. I try not to be  judgemental and always give people the benefit of the doubt. People usually think I’m a serious person, but that’s only because I don’t show them my crazy side. I’m always there for my friends, ready to listen, give advice and help them to solve their issues. I targetted this line to one of my best friend that “I’m the best secret-keeper in the world.” 😉 Out of four chambers in my heart, three are filled with family, cousins, friends & one is empty for now but will be filled soon..:P

I know most of you people get a doubt after reading ‘about me’ that “how many languages I can speak isn’t it?” I already told you I put myself into others shoes and think like them 😉 Well! I can speak and write Mandarin fluently. Japanese near to intermediate level.  After my recent Indonesian trip, My linguistic skills have been more broadened by learning Bahasa Indonesia. Lot more countries to explore and lot more languages to learn. I am not a tourist I am a traveller. I just don’t travel to see the touristy places I travel to broaden my horizons.

  • My enthusiasm in the historical places and temples is complimented by my keen desire to learn and know the architecture of the historical temples.
  • Tea has become an integral part of my life. I have wide varieties of teas(30+ types) while travelling I bring back local teas as souvenirs.
  •  Though I’m not a professional photographer. I love capturing the beauty of Nature, Birds & Animals, Temples & Historical monuments.

I am on the same boat as you, wanting to discover as many cities as possible before I hit 30 🙂 Nice quotes btw. Any chance you watch chinese dramas since you speak chinese? Huge fan of them hehe.

    • Hello Mino, Thanks alot for the wonderful feedback. Till now I’ve visiting 12 countries. Glad to know that you are also travelling on the same boat with me. You want to finish it before 30? wow! then you are definitely more ambitious than me.. 😛 Yes I do watch Chinese dramas but recently due to the time factor I’m not getting enough time to watch them.   23. Wow! Quite an impressive bio. I liked the fact about learning different languages while on travel. Believe me it’s not the same thing when learning from a software. I never got to the next level in any language I wanted to learn. Anyway, your attitude towards life speaks volumes about what you have actually seen until now. Great to read this. Keep it up.
    And I liked these 2 lines too. which are not in the quotes:

    • Thank you so much Sheetal ji.. Let me tell you how I learn the language.. I’ve friends in almost all the neighbouring countries. I learn the vocabulary from books & Try to develop my listening and pronunciation skills by listening to the podcasts. Then practice it with my friends through Whatsapp/Viber. I should say that it works, because that is how I learnt Bahasa Indonesia before travelling to Indonesia. Once again thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words.   35. I came here because you clicked like on a new post of mine (Thank you). I looked at the long blurb and small text and thought “maybe not”, but once I started reading I was hooked. Not that I can’t read… just that the eyes do not keep track of the words so well these days. Maybe you will end up visiting Tasmania on day… australia is a big country but it is not far away from you in worls terms and if you do came down under to Oz don’t forget TASSIE!

    I feel that you and I are alike in many ways. Prior to blogging I’ve always struggled to express myself, especially so given my closed, if awkward, personality. And I’ve always loathed the word “tourist” – I believe travelling is more than just a superficial experience of “been there, done that”.

  47. i really struggle with languages..when I moved to South Africa, just for fun I tried to learn the simplest of their languages – Afrikaans. As expected, i failed miserably!

    • For learning languages more easily, we need to focus more on practicing, watching movies and listening to the songs.. Thus how I roll.. Don’t worry dear! Success always follows after a failing attempt.. You can do it for sure. Just stay strong and believe in yourself! 🙂

    I was always hopeless with languages (except a bit of French which I studied at high school 45 years ago), but a smile goes a long way in a foreign country.

  50. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I, too, like to travel and have visited every state in the US. I have lived in and visited several foreign countries and you’re right it helps to be fluent in the language. While in South America, I thought I asked for directions to “the Point” but instead asked for the prostitute. The difference was in the spelling. I left out the “n” in punta. Have a great day!
