• Player: Hello!
• Mike: Arr? Be ye wantin' te go on account with our gang o' fillibusters?
• Mike: The powder monkey be takin' a caulk after gettin' rowdy on bumboo, so there be plenty of room for ye.
• Player: Riiiiight...
• Player: I'll just be over here if you need me.

With the little book o'piracy or having completed Rocking Out

• Mike: Wanna buy some clothes? Good quality, none of yer rags.
• Select an Option
  • I'll take a look.
    • Player: I'll take a look.
    • (Dodgy Mike's Second-hand Clothing interface opens.)
  • No thanks.
    • Player: No thanks.
    • Mike: Then what are you doin' in my shop? Move along.
  • Why does that shirt have a hole in it?
    • Player: Why does that shirt have a hole in it?
    • Mike: It's to put your head through.
    • Player: In the stomach? Isn't that an odd place for a neck hole?
    • Mike: Oh! It seems as if I must have slipped while cleaning it and put a bit of a hole in the front.
    • Mike: Silly me.
    • Player: What were you cleaning it with, a blood-covered scimitar?
    • Mike: ...
    • Mike: If I say yes will you buy it?
    • Player: No.
    • Mike: Then no, I was not cleaning it with a blood-covered scimitar.
    • Player: Where do you get these clothes?
    • Mike: Found em.
    • Player: You found a bunch of slashed up clothing, some of which has been shoddily cleaned and stitched together?
    • Mike: Yes.
    • Mike: Look, do you want in on this or not?

    • Player: Where did that pillar come from?
    • Mike: You wanna buy it?
    • Player: Is it for sale?
    • Mike: Would you buy it if it was?
    • Player: If it was could you sell it to me?
    • Mike: If I couldn't would you still give me the money?
    • Player: No.
    • Player: Where did this pillar come from?
    • Mike: Dunno. There are a load of islands out this way, and a lot of them have little bits and pieces like this scattered around.
    • Mike: The way I see it, there must have been some more people out here at one point, then they went away.
    • Player: Where?
    • Mike: Search me.
    • Player: I'd rather not.
