Tutors were removed after an update. The contents of this page no longer exist in RuneScape, and this article is kept for historical purposes.

A Tutor is a non-player character who can help players to understand a new concept or process, and may be especially useful for new players. Tutors tend to becomes discontinued or replaced due to continuous updates to the tutorial system by Jagex.
As of 17 September 2009, along with the Advisors and Objectives update, most tutors have been replaced with Roddeck's Advice and tutorials using the Advisor System.
Learning the Ropes
[edit | edit source]These tutors were part of the Learning the Ropes tutorial, which replaced Tutorial Island, until is was subsequently replaced with a new tutorial. Most of the tutors have been removed, though a few are still found in the game and have been repurposed for other things.

Tutorial Island
[edit | edit source]These tutors are only accessible to players remaining on Tutorial Island. With the release of Beneath Cursed Tides quest, the Player is able to revisit the sunken version of the island in order to rescue the tutors trapped there. Vannaka is still accessible in the ruins south of the Edgeville bank as a Slayer Master.
