Our first opening of 2026 – Neko Health Birmingham! Coming soon.
Neko Health is a Swedish health-tech company co-founded in 2018 by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek. Neko's vision is to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection. This requires completely reimagining the patient's experience and incorporating the latest advances in sensors and AI. Neko has developed a new medical scanning technology concept to make it possible to do broad and non-invasive health data collection that is convenient and affordable for the public.

It’s hard for me to believe there are now over 700 people working at Neko Health. For over a year we were less than 10 people, and it feels like that was just yesterday! Couldn’t think of a better way to wrap my head around it than getting everyone into a room together. So last week, we brought the whole global team to Stockholm. To -10°C and to mountains of snow. We had people coming from all over, New York and LA to Berlin and Manchester, from nurses and doctors to architects and AI engineers. It was really fun to get to talk about our goals for 2026, how our culture and values are evolving, and take the time to exercise and build snow castles together. Thanks to everyone who attended – 2026 will be Neko’s most important year yet!

Just wrapped my last office hour of the year with the entire Neko Health team. It's been a really exciting year! One of my favourite moments was opening our first flagship location in London Spitalfields back in April. This building became a symbol of how we work at Neko: we take big swings (like 3D printing a 23ft monolith wall) and run towards the hard problems that unlock a completely new healthcare experience for our members. 2026 is set to be our most impactful year yet - more on that soon - but the message I shared with the team today was one of gratitude for crazy amounts of hard work in 25, and optimism and excitement for what lies ahead in 26.
Ever wondered what it’s like to experience the Neko Body Scan? A step into the scanning room is a step into your health future. One where prevention is possible through proactive measures. The Neko Body Scan maps millions of data points across your skin, heart, circulation, tissue, body and blood - with results delivered in minutes. During the same 60-minute visit, sit down with one of our doctors for a debrief. Understand your health picture today and discuss how it may develop into the future, so that you can walk away with the reassurance and clarity you need to stay ahead of your health.

For the first time, we can show how Neko Health members’ health changes over time. We looked at the first 1,469 people who came back for their second Neko Body Scan, roughly a year after their first. On average, they returned in better health. Two things stand out: * Healthy members stayed healthy – or got even healthier. Small but consistent improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar, with weight largely stable. * Members with chronic conditions improved the most. People with pre-diabetes, diabetes and hypertension saw the biggest reductions in blood pressure, “bad” cholesterol and HbA1c. These early results suggest that regular, preventive check-ins don’t just find problems – they help people stay on track and move in the right direction.
Richard, 73, spent most of his life working outdoors as a farm vet. Last year, while on holiday in Cyprus, he discovered Neko Health and decided to book a scan. A suspected melanoma was discovered during his visit - and thanks to early detection, he believes the Neko Body Scan may have saved his life. This is Richard's Neko Story.
