JDIFF is a program that outputs the differences between two binary files, either in binary format or in human readable format (detailed or summarized) and then allows to reconstruct the second file from the first one and the diff-file.

An extensible network forensic analysis framework. Enables rapid development of plugins to support the dissection of network packet captures. This is a major framework update to Dshell. Plugins written for the previous version are not compatible with this version, and vice versa. By extension, dpkt and pypcap have been replaced with Python3-friendly pypacker and pcapy (respectively). Enables development of external plugin packs, allowing the sharing and installation of new, externally-developed plugins without overlapping the core Dshell libraries. Plugins can now use all output modules, available to the command line switch, -O. That does not mean every output module will be useful to every plugin (e.g. using netflow output for a plugin that looks at individual packets), but they are available.

Welcome to OSAF! The OSAF-Toolkit was developed, as a senior design project, by a group of IT students from the University of Cincinnati, wanting to pioneer and pave the way for standardization of Android malware analysis. The OSAF-Toolkit is built from Ubuntu 11.10 and pre-compiled with all of the tools needed to rip apart applications for code review and malware analysis. Xplico is a Network Forensic Analysis Tool (NFAT). The goal of Xplico is extract from an internet traffic capture the applications data contained. For example, from a pcap file Xplico extracts each email (POP, IMAP, and SMTP protocols), all HTTP contents, each VoIP call (SIP, MGCP, MEGACO, RTP), IRC, WhatsApp... Xplico is able to classify more than 140 (application) protocols. Xplico cam be used as sniffer-decoder if used in "live mode" or in conjunction with netsniff-ng. This project offers open source implementations for UNESCO/IFIP's Algol 68 (the Revised Report language). The project offers two implementations: Implementation 1 is Algol68G: a recent checkout hybrid compiler/interpreter by Marcel van der Veer, supporting arbitrary arithmetic, partial parametrisation, complex numbers, POSIX threads, GNU plotutils, GNU scientific library, curses, sound, TCP sockets, RegEx and PostgreSQL. Inplementation 2 is algol68toc, a port by Sian Mountbatten of the vintage Algol68RS (UK Defense Research Agency) compiler. The implementation emits C code.

The NS-Mapper ad-hoc scenario editor is improved and extended by adding more realistic strategies, such as random based node placement, movement and traffic to the ad-hoc simulation of the Network Simulator 2 (NS-2).

One persons quest to keep outdated hardware out of our landfills by putting them back in use with a modern lightweight Operating System. Linux LucidPup 5.2.8 and SlackoPup 5.3.3 have been used as the base OS for this project for two reasons, compact and portable. Both versions come in two flavors: "MeatyBones" basic barebones get the job done with Wine and Boinc pre-installed "BaconBits" which is the Flagship of this project and will come with "BoincTasks", "SetiMapView" and "SETIsprint" pre-installed atop of Wine and Boinc. The two ISO's have been remastered from the basic downloadable versions available anywhere on the internet. Both ISO's have been scanned twice with Avast and Nortons antivirus and both have been tested in good to awesome condition. But don't just take my word for it that it works, go download it and test it out on your own hardware or Virtual machine. You will be pleasantly surprised. To diagnose a problem or simply to study the internal flow of information in an ethercat fieldbus, one of the common practices is to capture the flow of ethercat datagrams with an ethernet sniffer such as Wireshark (www.wireshark.org). Wireshark provides some filters to facilitate data analysis but the high amount of recorded information still makes an analysis complicated for many people who do not have a very deep knowledge of the ethercat protocol and Wireshark tools. Ecang can help these people! Ecang extracts the list of the slaves managed and the PDOs exchanged in an ethercat network directly from the network configuration file (ENI file) .xml, thanks to this data it can read numerous information from the file generated by the sniffer (.pcapng) and transfers them to a comma-separated values ​​file (.csv) already applying a first level of validation.

This is part of the GAMES Project, which consists of a set of innovative methodologies and Open Source ICT tools for designing and managing energy efficiency in IT Service Centres. The ESMI is the monitoring and sensing infrastructure which allows the fine-grained measurement and provides both an event-based and a real-time stream of data conveying information about the energy consumption in the key points of the overall system. It is completed by a set of Nagios plugin and an assessment tool which implements some green Performance Indicators and integrates data mining with the self adaptive controllers of the entire framework.
