Open Source C++ Simulation Software

An Qt based HP-41cx Emulator first based on Eric's NSIM-0.61 Project. Ported to C++ and extended by an graphical Qt-based User-interface. Since Oct.2014 I developed my own NUT-Core implementation which is quite different from Eric's one. I called it NewT in fact of the existing NewT NUT Hardware revival.

Bot simulation main purpose is to help real bot developer to test their bot behaviors thanks to an openGL simulation with collision detection and a scriptable behavior in LUA.

ESTReMo is a genetic algorithm-based simulator to explore the evolution of transcription factors and their binding motifs on realistic genomic backgrounds.

Magnetic Drug Targeting (MDT) simulation and visualization in traversal and longtitudinal mode.

Ulambator solves the depth-averaged Stokes equations using a boundary element method. The combination of both reduces the discretization effort from 3D to 1D. Hence the flow solver is well adapted to free interface flows in shallow geometries. The manual and tutorial codes are still being extended. New functions will be made available. syfluid is a funny toy as well as a real simulation. It simulates a fluid or a gas in a very colorful, graphic and sometimes psychodelic way. In realtime! Drag while your right mouse button is pressed to "draw" the fluid/density field. Drag while your left mouse button is pressed to make the whole thing move, i.e. to "draw" the "forces" that you're adding to the fluid/density field. Press "r" to clear the screen and "m" to open the menu. Press "1" .. "8" to switch color presets. SPACE to pause. "s" to save a png or jpg. syfluid is written in C++ using OpenGL. Even though it is heavily performance optimized and using OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL), it is a performance hog. Use "f" to show the FPS. If they are lower than 30, then reduce the quality parameter that you find in the menu from 200 to e.g. 100. For very fast graphic cards, try 400 and above. CalculiX Binaries for MS Windows, made with CYGWIN and ARPACK libraries. CalculiX is most popular FEA open-source package (like Code-Aster and Elmer-FEM). it is comparable in features with most known commercial packages like ANSYS, NASTRAN, Abaqus, etc. Good for structural, mechanical, thermal and fluid applications (trusses, plates, frames, shells, solid bodies). It has powerful nonlinear capabilities (including tension/compression only material like concrete) and most types of analysis (modal, thermal, buckling, coupled, etc) .
