FLAC is a free lossless compressed audio format which supports streaming and archival. The FLAC project maintains the format and provides a reference encoder/decoder and input plugins for several popular audio players.

RapidCRC is a tool for windows for checking and creating CRC32 and MD5 checksums (.sfv/.md5 files). Goal is to use the fastest available (assembly) implementations for this task. Specialty: direct support for CRC32 checksums stored in filenames.

Based on the Visopsys operating system, Partition Logic is a bootable disk image featuring a disk manager program that can create, delete, erase, format, defragment, resize, copy, and move partitions and modify their attributes. UEFI GPT fdisk is a port to UEFI of the famous GPT fdisk partitioning tool, see http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/ . Now since this program runs directly under UEFI shell you don't need to *boot* the system to convert/edit partition tables.

AGfUPX is a nice GUI for UPX with many advantages. Selecting a file using drag & drop, shell integration (adding "Open with AGfUPX" option to the context menu of exe/dll files) and redirecting UPX output to a windows dialog box are only few of them.

AsmFile is a filemanager for terminals or the Linux console. It is written in assembler for small size and speed. The design uses two window approach like mc and other filemanagers.

Far Manager is a program for managing files and archives in Windows operating systems. Far Manager works in text mode and provides a simple and intuitive interface for performing most of the necessary actions: viewing files and directories; editing, copying and renaming files; and many other actions. Far Manager has a multi-language, easily configurable interface. File system navigation is made easier through the use of color highlighting and sort groups. The functionality of Far Manager is greatly extended by external DLL modules — plugins (made possible by a special set of interfaces — the Plugins API). For example: archive support, FTP client, temporary panel and network browser are all implemented as plugins included in the standard distribution of Far.
