Pros: Perfect placement of text box, which falls right below the camera on my laptop. Adjustable font size and scrolling speed. Script uploaded easily and could be edited easily as well.

Cons: This is an excellent product, which suited my purpose beyond my expectations so I have no issue with it at all.

Overall: I used this virtual teleprompter to deliver a 10-minute presentation. The feedback from the audience was way above my expectations. Persons later remarked how awesome the presentation was as I was looking at them directly and speaking without a script!

I was highly impressed with the ease of use of the app, especially since it was my first time using one of its kind. I was able to increase the font size to accommodate my visual acuity challenge, and I was able to insert certain formatting styles like highlights to remind me of areas of emphasis. Also, I was able to time my speech well to match my speaking style. Of course, the app allowed me to practice my speech ahead of the event.

Pros: I was very happy to discover this product. My ability to remember a presentation is not great and my worry about it was worse. Once you get it going, it is fantastic.
I did run into issues setting it up. But their support people do follow up. You just have to be patient as it takes a day or so. But once you learn it, it is a life saver. And it becomes easy. You only need them at first.
I don’t do presentations regularly, but when I do I plan to resubscribe as needed rather than pay for months I don’t need it. They are customer friendly and have allowed me to do that.
I was very glad I found this company! If you dislike memorizing as much as I do, you will be too.

Cons: I wish they had they offered an ability to chat immediately.

Cons: When opening a PowerPoint presentation the presentation takes over and Vodium disappears. It's the only app that takes over Vodium and Vodium disappears.

Pros: Loved that I can manage so much so easily. From the size of the font to the transparency and where it sits on my screen. Super easy to manage timing though I prefer to do the scrolling myself as our program has a lot of moving parts;)

Cons: Timer doesn't work for me. For the reasons above. Being out of the US tech support was a little slow when I needed something asap.

Overall: Love this product! I am not a natural presenter so this allowed me to feel in control and deliver all the material I had developed without losing my place or train of thought. It all meant that answering question in a session didn't make me lose my place.

Pros: The platform as a whole is just literal FIRE!! It's super easy to copy/paste your copy into the platform to use. Very user friendly. Just an all around great platform.

As a fellow WOC, it's always does my heart glad and excites me to see fellow WOCs moving into spaces where there are typically very few that look like them. So kudos to them for that. They have a forever customer in me!

Overall: I'm really impressed and happy with the quality of the Vodium product. It's super user friendly, easy to upload your copy into the window that you use to speak from.

It's also helped me more present in my communications when using the platform as well as slowing fine tuning the cadence and speed of my speaking.

Pros: I found VODIUM at a time I was starting my business. I was struggling to learn how to be “natural” on my Zoom appointments with clients because I was to memorize scripts for each product/concept I offer. VODIUM was a life saver and super simple to implement ( I am not a tech person at all). VODIUM helped me learn and be not only natural but more relaxed and myself because I have everything I need on my screen thanks to VODIUM! Oh and the support I received was unmatched. One of the owners Mary contacted me and we spoke on a zoom call and she made me a personalized video with step by step instructions to help me. Incredible support!! Thanks VODIUM

Pros: very user friendly, the transparent aspect was super nice so I can easily see my audience, the speed adjuster.

Cons: Can't think of any at the moment. So far it has been useful and meeting all my needs.

Overall: Very useful, I was very impressed how easy it was to use, nobody could tell I was using a prompter and it felt very natural.

Pros: I love the ease of use. It's reliable and easy to figure out. Works well and isn't overly complicated.

Cons: I do wish I could buy it flat out and not use it on a subscription basis as my presentations are very important to me, but not with great frequency.

The other con has nothing to do with Vodium's program, but moreso the concept of video presenting. I find in my presentations when i'm "holding the floor" I crave also looking into people's eyes. In this new video-conferencing world, it seems you ca only have one (staying on script) or the other (human connection), sadly.

Overall: I thought I would only use Vodium for its free trial during one presentation, but I ended up purchasing the subscription because I liked it.

Pros: Great product! Love that I can use it on any of my devices (PC or Apple). I can get kick-off the recording and start Vodium and follow along with the script I wrote out. I'm not looking down at notes. Able to consistently keep my eyes on the camera like I'm doing the recording w/out notes. Highly recommend Vodium for anyone.

Pros: I do a lot of Zoom lectures and speaking, and Vodium means I can see my script and my slides a the same time - and maintain eye contact with the camera/audience. It is way better than any of the "hacks" I've used before - including having a second computer behind my laptop. It is better than printing my talk or having a second screen next to my first because it allows constant eye contact.

Cons: Sometimes when I paste my talk into the Vodium box parts of it "disappear" because of the font color change. This took me by surprise the first time it happened - now I know that the text is still there, but just needs to be changed to white-colored font. So now I routinely highlight the whole talk and change the font to white - I still haven't figured out why the program fails to convert some of the chunks of text to white. I recommend scrolling through your whole talk and making sure all of it transferred to the Vodium screen without gaps. Also I am ambivalent about the subscription model - it would be good if there was a day-rate since I use it sporadically.

Overall: Excellent now that I know to check the cut-and-pasted text. I have recommended it to several colleagues. It is a must-have if you do a lot of Zoom lectures and use slides and like to have a written script or notes in front of you.

Pros: Vodium gives me confidence, it allows me to have my notes and my script easily accessible when I am hosting live zoom calls and helps me when I am recording content t for my social media platforms. I like the functionality of the timer and the font size and how I can move the text box around. It is easy to use on multiple computers as well and is affordable.

Cons: I would like an app version for my Android phone. It would be helpful to use it on the go for recording TikTok videos and IG reels.

Overall: Easy to use, implement, understand and execute for flawless delivery of content. Vodium gives me the confidence I need when delivering information to my clients. I like how I can share my screen on zoom and my clients don't see my script.

Pros: I've worked with a few different online teleprompters and found Vodium to be the easiest and most reliable to use. The start/stop function and the speed controller were excellent to navigate as well and the transparency.

Cons: I think perhaps the screen could have been just a little bigger.

Cons: If there are any cons, it would be that I would love to be able to have a mobile version for recording videos on my phone.

Pros: I loved using this software for our online recitals during the pandemic!
Easy to read, you can see through the window so that you can still monitor the zoom, change the speed on the scroll - user interface is easy and it works!

Cons: I hate the subscription model on anything, and especially this program. I use this program a few times a year, and if there was an option to just purchase it outright or to buy a (non-renewing) access code for those few days, I'd be totally in!
But having to continue paying for it every month and mostly not use it... totally unacceptable.
Also, a very unintuitive way to cancel the subscription. Cancelling should be easier.

Overall: If there were a way to just buy access for one or two days at a time, I'd be all over it, but as an ongoing subscription that's inconvenient to cancel, it loses all its appeal.
