VeNTITY®
Ventity is a complementary software to Vensim to address reuseable models (data is stored separately), use of very large data as needed, and requirements for model structural changes during simulation. Ventity emerged from work on models of markets and economies providing sufficient detail for key decisions.

VENTANA CONSULTING
Ventana’s focus is supporting strategy definition and implementation through dynamic models helping multi-level decision-making and identifying improvement pathways. Our consulting approach emphasizes building models that fit both control and cultural requirements, this for successful implementation across functions and levels. Technical success has been easy – cultural fit for long term adoption is our current focus. Our toolsets will be reflecting this commitment as they are the repository of what we find necessary and useful for current work.
Ventana created the original C-ROADS and En-ROADS climate simulators. Climate Interactive and MIT have furthered and popularised this work.
Recent climate-related work is the model developed for the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS). Combining climate and national economic models to quantify impacts, it is used to identify effective abatement projects and qualify for project funds. Initial results were presented at COP27. This project involves Kenya, Burkina Faso, Angola, Jamaica, Guyana, Fiji, and Samoa as the initial step to implementation for all 79 OACPS countries. With DESI Power and Fichtner India, the analysis can be extended to village and local economies. The work can extend to any country seeking to decarbonize, mitigate climate impacts and still grow.
Ventana developed an ecosystem model of white-tailed deer health and related socio-economic systems being used to guide regional decision-making for Chronic Wasting Disease. This project is expanding to more regions under USGS guidance.
