Drain

I don’t really know Morse Code, but I tried tapping some sort of rhythm anyway. You know, just in case.
Sometimes I see a skinny little leg, other times an eye peeking out of the drain.
I talk to him several times a day … he says nothing.
He’s a big feller, for what he is. But he’s shy.
I don’t know how old he is, but can’t be very old. His kind don’t live long lives.
I figure he’s lucky to be living in the drain here, instead of someone else’s drain.
Someday soon I will lure him all the way out. I will catch him for re-location.

Maybe you could put him in your water spout.

haha! If I had a water spout maybe he would climb up, then I could catch him and release him outside. Thanks, Jim. 🙂

Thanks, Di!
Spiders don’t bother me. I like them a lot, and catch them when I can so I can put them back outside. (I do have an old coffee can I use to scoop them up in, though) 🙂

shuddering here…………….. I don’t mind mice or snakes though

We’ve had a few mice here in the past. They don’t scare me, just I don’t want them in the house. I have almost never seen a snake, though. 🙂

Thanks, Sadje!
I like spiders and don’t want to drown him by running water down the drain. So, I hope he comes out in the open soon. 🙂
