Marc Alfos (May 20, 1956 - August 3, 2012) was a very French voice actor.

Having a very unique and deep voice, he was the French voice of actors including Russell Crowe, Ron Perlman and Bruce McGill. He was very active in video game dubbing. He also voiced innumerable characters in animated films TV series and video games.

In animation, his roles include Sarge from the Toy Story saga, Robert Parr/Mr. Incredible in the first The Incredibles film, Maurice in the Madagascar films, Takeshi Ooi in Death Note and Max Tennyson in various Ben 10 media.

His voice was also very present in videogames. He is the French voice of Samos the Sage in the Jak and Daxter games, Mario Autidore in the Assassin's Creed saga, Talon and Alistar in League of Legends, among a ton of other voice roles.

On August 3, 2012, Marc Alfos died of a heart attack, at the age of 56.

Notes

  • Coincidentally, Marc Alfos and Miguel Ángel Montero both shared the role of Megatron for the first two videogames from the live-action franchise only, then switched to the role of Warpath for the Dark of the Moon videogame. It was probably because they also both voiced the other Warpath in the War for Cybertron game.
